When September Ends is Northeast Ohio’s premier (and possibly only) semi-acoustic Green Day tribute band. Formed after singer-songwriter Noah Gittell met bassist James Wenstrup and drummer Dylan Brown at a Cleveland open mic night, the trio quickly bonded over their shared love of the Bay Area punk legends.

Swapping Green Day’s signature distortion for an acoustic approach, When September Ends reveals a chiller, more melodic side of the band’s catalog—blending in elements of blues, jazz, and folk while staying true to the spirit of pop-punk.
