The long-running Zydeco-Cajun swamp-pop outfit will be playing on Thursday, August 7th from 7-10pm in the Atlantic Beer Garden (weather permitting) - and the show is FREE!

Bob Frank Happy Hour, free show in the Atlantic Beer Garden - don't miss this FREE show from 5-7pm!

Bob Frank is a Cleveland Blues Legend - A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Bob spent eighteen years as the leader of the Hotfoot Quartet, touring throughout North America and recording several albums.

Cleveland Magazine said, "Aside from being an accomplished guitarist, Frank boasts a encyclopedic knowledge of old-time country, blues and bluegrass music." The Free Times added, "Frank is a first-class guitarist and vocalist." Jazz and Blues Report added, "A sure-fingered, veteran player, skilled in a wide spectrum of black and white roots styles, Frank comes off as a performer with a strong sense of identity." And in a recent cd review, Vintage Guitar Magazine said, “Frank is a first rate songwriter and a champion guitar player.”

We're excited to bring Lea Marra & The River Boys back to the Forest City Brewery stage for a Summer show. They will be playing two sets of originals and covers in their folkgrass style.

Lea Marra has been writing and performing music since the age of ten. Marra studied music from Seton Hill University and has her BA in Music Therapy. Her writing inspirations derive from nature, life experiences and relationships. Marra's songwriting is influenced by music such as the Cranberries, Sixpence None The Richer, The Chicks, Shania Twain, and The Weepies to just name a few. Marra started Lea Marra & The Dream Catchers in 2019. The band started out as an electric folk/pop/alt country band with a total of seven members. Marra had to rebuild the band in 2021 after her Sophomore album release, due to many of the members departing from LM & TDC. In that time, the Dream Catchers evolved into a string band, which currently includes mandolin, banjo, upright bass, and three part harmonies at times. The band has adopted the genre name, “Porch Folk”. With the many changes of the line up of the band and the sound of the music Marra decided to change the name of the band to, Lea Marra & The River Boys in 2023. The band provides grassy licks, strong vocals, and heartfelt lyrics.

The New Soft Shoe is a Cleveland based band that covers the catalog of Cosmic American Music's Gram Parsons. Since the founding of the band 15 years ago, they have a consistent monthly 2nd Thursday show at Forest City Brewery, played the Rock Hall and other venues, multiple times at the Gram Parsons Pull in Waycross, GA, Gram’s childhood home, and put their own twist on many of the classic Gram, Flying Burrito Brothers, Byrds, and International Submarine Band songs. The band digs deep into the catalog with the only rule that Gram had to have played the song at least once for it to be performed by the band.

This Sunday, August 10th from 3-6pm Brent Hopper will be playing solo acoustic in the Historic Atlantic Beer Garden! And it's a free show! 

Brent Hopper has been a national touring musician for over 30 years. He performs Americana, Acoustic Roots Music, Irish Ballads, Folk Songs, Bluegrass & Good ol’ Grateful Dead - not to be missed! 

We'll have our full menu available and plenty of pints - join us this Sunday for a lovely afternoon of live music under the trees at Forest City. 

At the heart of Kevin McCarthy’s music, you’ll find welcoming tones of Americana and at once be ensnared by his comforting, resonant, heartfelt delivery and variance on tradition. Kevin is a singer-songwriter based in Cleveland, Ohio by way of San Francisco & New York. Experiences in these cities, and places between, brought Kevin to the incredible cast of musicians performing on newly released recordings and touring with him this year. These relationships have shaped his music and filled his songs with authentic connection. McCarthy’s music has been likened to Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Andrew Bird, Nick Cave and such soulful singers as Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, and Chris Whitley.

Cats On Holiday is a Cleveland based Swamp Pop band that has been pleasing audiences for 20 years with their own special blend of Louisiana inspired rock/roots/ Zydeco. The Cats are driven by founding member, songwriter, lead vocalist and guitar/ button-box player Denis DeVito

HillBilly IDOL started in 1991, with Dave Huddleston & Paul Kovac casually getting together to sing & explore the music they loved. This led them down the path to the Everly Brothers, Louvin Brothers, Chuck Berry, George Jones and many other heroes. By the mid-90’s, the band’s lineup included Bill Watson on bass & drummer Scott Flowers. When Al Moss joined on pedal steel guitar, the personal was complete. This was the band that made their two CD’s, “Town & Country”, and “Hillbilly IDOL”.

Regretfully, Al is unable to join them on this show. The group will return to its roots, playing many of the songs that inspired & informed their sound, as well as lots of songs from their albums.

It’s been 20+ years since they’ve played together. If you were a fan, listened to their music, had their CD’s, or just curious about HBI, this is the show for you.

Rachel Brown has been dubbed “The Honky Tonk Queen of Cleveland” due to her gospel type piano stylings reminiscent of Floyd Cramer and the great Jerry Lee Lewis. She has been performing Traditional Country/Gospel/Americana/Blues music since she was 6 years old and hails from a family with deep roots in traditional music. Her band, The Beatnik Playboys, have been playing and creating music together for over 15 years. Rachel is joined by Bill Watson on bass, Dave Huddleston on guitar and Roy King on drums. They play a very eclectic mix of songs including traditional Country, Jazz, Blues, and Americana.
