Ray Flanagan is a Cleveland, OH based songwriter that writes and performs his songs with the no nonsense attitude of a skilled journeyman. Flanagan has performed with nearly everybody in the Northeast Ohio music scene, lending his keen musical sense and guitar artistry to artists of all genres.

In 2012, four longtime band mates asked their talented friends and acquaintances to choose a “bucket list” song that they always wanted to perform. After a few months of rehearsal, “Night of a Dozen Stars” was born. A yearly tradition at The Barking Spider Tavern from 2012-2016, "NODS" is now going strong at Forest City Brewery– it's an evening of songs with 12 different lead singers singing a wide variety of tunes that cover different musical decades. You’ll never know who or what you’ll hear next.

Admission is FREE. Optional donations will go directly to The May Dugan Center.

Their sets include American songbook standards, west-coast rock-a-billy, pre-rock & roll R&B, east & western swing, all selected to entertain and to make you want to dance.  

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Jeffrey Cruz is a singer-songwriter who writes soul and pop-inspired melodies. He draws inspiration from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Anderson Paak.

Even though he is one of the most sought after guitarists in Northeast Ohio, it’s his songwriting that is his true superpower. The shutdown forced Flanagan to mobilize a different outlet for his creativity, resulting in the quickened pace of releasing two self-produced songs on the first Friday of every month starting in January of 2021.

These unfiltered songs offer the listener an authentic experience of a songwriter realizing their potential with every new song. Keeping a mind for music history and a creative target on the present moment, his songs and lyrics are signposts to his perception of the things that are happening right now.

Bob Frank Happy Hour, free show in the Atlantic Beer Garden - don't miss this FREE show from 5-7pm!

Bob Frank is a Cleveland Blues Legend - A lifelong resident of Cleveland, Bob spent eighteen years as the leader of the Hotfoot Quartet, touring throughout North America and recording several albums.

Cleveland Magazine said, "Aside from being an accomplished guitarist, Frank boasts a encyclopedic knowledge of old-time country, blues and bluegrass music." The Free Times added, "Frank is a first-class guitarist and vocalist." Jazz and Blues Report added, "A sure-fingered, veteran player, skilled in a wide spectrum of black and white roots styles, Frank comes off as a performer with a strong sense of identity." And in a recent cd review, Vintage Guitar Magazine said, “Frank is a first rate songwriter and a champion guitar player.”

We're excited to bring Lea Marra & The River Boys back to the Forest City Brewery stage for a Summer show. They will be playing two sets of originals and covers in their folkgrass style.

Lea Marra has been writing and performing music since the age of ten. Marra studied music from Seton Hill University and has her BA in Music Therapy. Her writing inspirations derive from nature, life experiences and relationships. Marra's songwriting is influenced by music such as the Cranberries, Sixpence None The Richer, The Chicks, Shania Twain, and The Weepies to just name a few. Marra started Lea Marra & The Dream Catchers in 2019. The band started out as an electric folk/pop/alt country band with a total of seven members. Marra had to rebuild the band in 2021 after her Sophomore album release, due to many of the members departing from LM & TDC. In that time, the Dream Catchers evolved into a string band, which currently includes mandolin, banjo, upright bass, and three part harmonies at times. The band has adopted the genre name, “Porch Folk”. With the many changes of the line up of the band and the sound of the music Marra decided to change the name of the band to, Lea Marra & The River Boys in 2023. The band provides grassy licks, strong vocals, and heartfelt lyrics.
